Duplicating Machine Operator

Location: Springfield, VA

Worksite: on-site

Position: Full-time

Schedule: Mon - Fri

Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Duties/Requirements:

Duplicating Machine Operator Shall:

• operates one or more photocopying, photographic, mimeograph and duplicating office machines to make copies of documents.
• operating small binding machines, performing clerical duties associated with the request for printing services, preparing assembly sheets, printing requisitions with specifications for printing and binding, recording, delivering and collecting work.
• perform minor repairs preventive maintenance and maintain an inventory of supplies and reproduction equipment.
• be physically able to perform the assigned work which includes lifting boxes of paper frequently weighing up to seventy-five (75) pounds. 
• Insert material to be copied in document folder, and files folder for processing according to index code and copying priority schedule.
• possess general knowledge of an office environment.

Experience:

• minimum of three years general office experience.
• minimum of one-year specialized experience as a duplicating / photocopying Machine Operator.
• minimum of one-year specialized experience using the Windows Operating System environment and word processing software such as, MSWord, Excel, etc.

Education/Certification:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Shall be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Requirement:  Sensitive but unclassified security clearance.
