Position Title: Driver/Food Service Attendant (VIP Lounge)
Reports To: Food Service Supervisor / Operations Manager

Department: VIP Lounge at GIAA
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Food Service Attendant is responsible for preparing and serving meals to business class passengers in accordance to meal specification of the company and the airline customer. This position is responsible for assisting in all areas of the VIP Lounge, including but not limited to, cleaning and maintaining of work area and washroom areas, shower room areas, equipment and tools.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Specific duties include the following:
· Assists in the preparation of food items to be served; makes coffee, stock up beverage, juices and snacks; washes, peels, and cuts vegetables and fruits, etc.
· Sets buffet style tables and serves food; may collect payment through coupons for meals.
· Distributes supplies, utensils and related equipment.
· Label and date left over food ensuring proper rotation.
· Performs inventory duties as directed.
· Keep work areas clean and in accordance with safety regulations, hygiene regulations (HACCP system), and meets all local and federal regulations.
· Responsible for learning proper use of kitchen equipment, including use of protective wear such as hairnets, sleeve protectors, etc.
· Assist in ordering, maintaining and controlling stock.
· Ensure hygiene standards laid down by the Company, Airline and the legislations are strictly followed.
· Performs other related duties as may be required based on the mission of the VIP Lounge.
· Delivers meals and supplies to the VIP lounge.

SKILLS:
· Must be proficient in the use of English language (written and oral). However, bilingual language (i.e. Japanese, Korean, Chinese, will be a plus)
· Must have good communication skills.
· Must have good organizational skills.
· Must be able to make independent, well thought out decisions.
· Must be dependable and flexible.
· Must be able to work under pressure.
· Prior airline catering experience preferred but not a must.
· Basic working knowledge of all relevant machinery used in food production.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Graduation from High School or GED equivalent; or (1) year of experience in the food preparation; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the preferable knowledge, abilities and skills.

The employee may regularly work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The employee is sometimes required to work in wet, humid conditions, extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
