AHRC NYC is looking to hire a part-time Driver for our Employment Business Services department in Manhattan. The Driver position has a rate of pay between $19 - $21 an hour depending on driving experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Following all AHRCNYC Vehicle and Driver Procedures, drive an AHRCNYC van to deliver and pick up packages as assigned by HRA mail room supervisor.
  • Execute mailroom and stock duties as assigned by account coordinator and/or mailroom manager
  • Picking up and delivering packages and letters to HRA offices and other designated areas throughout the five boroughs
  • Model appropriate work behavior and maintain a professional relationship with supervisors and customers
  • Adhering to all agency and program policies and procedures
  • Complete other assigned tasks and responsibilities when necessary/

Ability Knowledge & Skills Required:
  • Have a valid NY State or Tri-State drivers license for a minimum of 1 year, in good standing.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in written form
  • Familiarity with the New York City Transit System
