The Bark Shoppe is a fast-growing pet care company, and we're looking for a passionate individual to join our team as a Driver(Dog Handler). We are hiring at our location in Harlem, NY.

A Day In The Life:

You come to work daily with a smile on your face and excited to help serve our pet parents and their furry friends. Youll be in our branded gear and help run our daycare and boarding by greeting everyone as they come in. As a Dog Handler, you are responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and comfort of the dogs in our care. Prior experience working with dogs is necessary, you must genuinely love dogs, be comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs, be capable of consistently following all handling and safety protocols, possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail and be physically fit to lift dogs 60+ lbs, kneel and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

As a Driver, you are responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of all dogs to and from our locations using vehicles equipped with crates and safety belt clips. You must have a minimum of three (3) years professional driving experience in New York City, genuinely love dogs, possess extraordinary customer service skills, be capable of consistently following all handling and safety protocols, be able to exercise a significant amount of discretion and independent judgment, possess a great deal of focus and attention to detail, be physically fit to lift dogs 50+ lbs, kneel and stand for long periods of time, and adhere to traffic laws.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $17.00 - $20.00/hour.
