Doswell Operating Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team! Job Responsibilities:
- The Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate with leadership to understand and manage a staffing plan that supports business goals and objectives.
- Works within various systems and databases to actively source and manage applicants/candidates.
- Collaborates with leadership to develop, manage, and update job descriptions.
- The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work in sync with the internal marketing team to create recruitment materials that enhance recruiting efforts and candidate engagement.
- Executes local recruitment programs and events, while providing valuable information about Doswell Operating Group to potential applicants.
- Guides, assists, and manages candidates through all aspects of the hiring lifecycle.
- Provides assistance to hiring managers by joining interviews and discussing offers with candidates.
- Researches and recommends alternative solutions for various recruitment issues.
- Manages the pre-employment screening process.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Prior experience in skilled trades staffing (Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical; residential, commercial, and/or industrial) highly preferred.
- Familiarity with progressive recruitment strategies, prior recruiting (agency or internal) preferred.
- Prior experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system preferred.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to proactively network within the construction industry in greater Richmond area.
- High technical acumen with regards to computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.), and a willingness to learn new systems as required.
- Comfortable working in fast pace environment where priorities can shift quickly, all while maintaining a sense of urgency.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), attention to detail, organizational skills, and a desire to go above and beyond for our team.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record in order to operate company vehicles as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
