Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. Your role is crucial in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all who enter our facility. Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Provide information to clients regarding services, pricing, and policies
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures for clients and their pets
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and faxes
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, staff, and vendors
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling client information
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) when necessary

Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
