- Assist in the processing, controlling, and distributing project deliverables within budget and schedule deadlines.
- Assists in maintaining a comprehensive filing system and computer database for all documents to be retained in the document control center with supervision.
- Provide information control and logistical planning for project deliverables across multiple clients and projects.
- Completes work according to standard procedures on assignments from multiple sources (project managers, design team leaders, group managers, designers and engineers).
- Maintains accurate and timely document and record databases by logging/transferring all incoming and outgoing project files (discipline deliverables, RFIs, meeting minutes, correspondences, transmittals, etc) on various document management software.
- Demonstrates initiative in adapting to new conditions with minimal guidance.
- Interface with document management personnel on the client and internal teams.
- Participate in Quality Management processes.
- Data Entry.
- Tracks client materials to ensure proper drawing management, revision control, and property return.
- Assists in the quality checking of documents to ensure accuracy and timely release.
- Monitors and updates engineering deliverable status using company or client document control systems and procedures.
- Familiarity with the concept of manipulating database programs including creation of database from identification of need to output solutions. Performs inspections of materials or files to ensure correct placement, legibility, or proper condition. Eliminates outdated or unnecessary materials by destroying them or transferring them to inactive storage, according to the file maintenance guidelines or legal requirements.
- Performs audits and inspections to ensure department work is performed correctly and efficiently and ensures completeness of all controlled documents.
- Education/degree Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Continued education in an associate, bachelor program, or graduate program is desired, but not required. Experience based on knowledge, skills, and abilities may qualify with the approval of Manager of Document Control.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills. Logistical Planning. Good organizational skills/detailed oriented.

- Typing speed: 50 WPM.
