Dispatch/Scheduler

Job Overview:
Assist with creating accurate and efficient daily schedules, monitor driver routes, adjusting schedules as needed to maximize route efficiency and minimize vehicle hours and miles.

Coordinating with drivers, customers, service partners and others as needed.

Reviewing trips portal on a consistent basis and accept trips as needed.

Respond promptly and accept trips from IVR, live agents and private pay calls.

Record payment information for private pay calls to ensure payment for scheduled trips

Confirm and schedule trips timely to adjust the schedule accordingly, and to help us replace cancelled trips. Advise patient of the trip status, once trip is confirmed.

Provide support to drivers including, but not limited to: advising drivers of traffic conditions, detours, and other vehicles’ status.

Provide support to drivers including, but not limited to: cancelations, ETA’s, same day ride

requests, time changes, etc.

Coordinate dispatching of drivers to appropriate locations according to customer requests,

specifications, or needs, within our guidelines using telephones, mobile devices, and other

communication tools.

Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, and other dispatch information.

Report any scheduling or operational concerns to Director of Operations.

Represent the company in a professional manner to our service partners, our funders, and the community.

Provide superior quality customer service to ensure that each person who requests our service is treated with Respect, Dignity, and Compassion.

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical abilities to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during transportation operations

-Two (2) years’ experience in an operations environment, preferably scheduling, dispatching and/or general coordinating duties for a public transportation program and customer service experience

-Ability in reading and interpreting maps to determine locations and boundaries

- Demonstrated computer skills, and proficient with the Microsoft Office environment and Microsoft Excel and related software

-Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities within a specified

timeline

-Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and to make decisions with minimal supervision by prioritizing and organizing tasks.

-Ability to pass a drug or alcohol screening

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
