The department of Supply Chain has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Director, Supply Chain Program Development to work at UHealth. The Director, Supply Chain Program Development provides direction and project management under the direction of the Executive Director for Supply Chain Initiatives to the portfolio of Supply Chain-wide projects. The Director, Supply Chain Program Development leads the identification, implementation, and continuous improvement of projects and change management processes, methods, tools, guidelines, and standards to establish a stable, repeatable, and measurable framework to improve the probability of successful ongoing and new programs.
- Leads the design function of all new growth programs by conducting a needs assessment, program selection, design, budget requirement, staffing plans, and final implementation.
- Drives new and existing programming/projects forward, including project management, meeting set-up and leadership, and timeline/milestone management.
- Advises senior management of risks and opportunities for new programs and assists in identifying improvement options for current programs.
- Collaborate effectively on Supply Chain Services projects and initiatives, maintaining and documenting appropriate communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Communicating results through various media (e.g., PowerPoints, white papers, excel analyses) and during regular and milestone meetings and other communications to Supply Chain senior leadership.
- Analyzes data, evaluates results and develops recommendations and road maps across multiple workstreams.
- Serves as the Supply Chain advocate for new and existing programs by ensuring implemented business solutions meet the organization's needs.
- Develops overall change management strategy and transition plan for new and /or existing program development.
- Establishes and continuously assesses the effectiveness of the internal controls within the unit and compliance with university policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field required.
- Master's degree in relevant field preferred.
- CMRP Certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of supply chain experience.
- Healthcare supply chain experience preferred.
- Experience in project management and process improvement preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
- Knowledge of business and management principles.
- Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
- Ability to establish department goals, and objectives that support the strategic plan.
- Ability to effectively plan, delegate and/or supervise the work of others.
- Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others.
