Revenue Operations: Director Strategic Program Management

This resource will play a pivotal role in the shaping of our overall sales processes and capabilities. With the rapid growth Nutanix is achieving, we need to optimize and transform the sales processes and capabilities to scale with business and continue the transformation to a full subscription business.

This position requires a strategic approach with the ability to articulate the strategy into a roadmap that can then be delivered. You will need to have the ability to tell a "story" that aligns to business optimized outcomes. This is a highly visible role that will partner with senior leadership, BI Team, Business Applications, Legal, Finance, Product Management, Marketing and other business partners across Nutanix to drive sales efficiency and operational excellence.

The business strategy will need to be translated to an executable roadmap of capabilities. Each wave of work will need to be thoughtfully documented and agreed to by a cross functional team. Progress will be measured by delivering incremental capabilities that can also be measured with data showing a positive impact on the business. Positive impacts could be but not limited to: reduced costs, simplified processes, speed and efficiency in execution and improved customer experience.

You will lead complex cross functional programs making sure that they meet all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through planning, designing, deployment and adoption. You will manage company and third-party efforts to plan, build and implement solutions to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

You possess relevant subject matter knowledge across the sales process including Configuration, Pricing, Quoting, CRM (Salesforce) and the overall end to end subscription sales process. You will provide innovative solutions in a fast-passed environment. You will lead large and small, cross-organization, cross- regional teams.

You also provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. You routinely exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. This Develops strategy and sets business policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.

Responsibilities

+ You are the key resource supporting the redesign of systems and processes that will result in greater scalability, higher sales productivity, simplified processes that allows the business to grow at scale

+ You must be able to collaborate across businesses, functions, and regions.

+ You will work with internal teams and external vendors to build and deliver on the plan

+ Indirectly manages large, crossfunctional teams to facilitate projects and ensure timely delivery.

+ Work collaboratively across the global organization to develop and advance key initiatives, optimize business processes, design policies, and drive new solutions

+ Leads the development of project guidelines, contingency plans, objectives, and deliverables.

+ You should be familiar with Channel based business as Nutanix executes 100% of our business via a robust channel network

+ Responsible for stakeholder management and developing well defined milestones, including following up on action items to ensure completeness and alignment.

+ Consults with business partners on issues related to the target processes; assessing relevant business risk, opportunities for efficiency and scale and support for new growth opportunities.

+ Provides thought leadership and contributes to expanding the knowledge base within area of expertise.

+ Structures analytical approaches and develops project strategies and tactics.

+ Develop meaningful measurement systems to confirm impact on business.

+ Collaborates across businesses, functions, and regions to align strategy and direction.

+ Ad-hoc projects as required.

Qualification and Experience

+ 15+ years of business experience, including a proven track record of performance in sales platforms and complex Program Management.

+ Positive attitude along with a passion for the business and data.

+ Experience withend-to-end sales processes and tools

+ Excellent executive presence, ability to drive adoption and build credibility with senior leadership.

+ Superior problem-solving skills

+ Ability to translate ideas and requirements from sales leadership into a documented strawman with defined timelines

+ Engage relevantresources to turn strawmen into tangible programs that drive meaningful business outcomes.

+ Excellent communications skills and a high level of comfort collaborating with both sales and data minded cross functional team members.

+ Ability to articulate Sales Operations practices - Channels, Inside Sales, PreSales, Renewals, Compensation,,etc

+ Exceptional analytical, reporting, data manipulation, problem solving and Business Intelligence skills with attention to visual & design nuances in analysis presentation

+ Experience with Salesforce, Clari and CPQ tools are a plus.

+ Detail-oriented but can also see the big picture. Can crunch the numbers and clearly articulate the key takeaways in an executive summary. Tell a "story"

+ Comfortable working with diverse global counterparts

+ Proficient in Power Point, and able to build professional, executive worthy decks.

+ Ability to quickly pivot and thrive in an agile environmentand meet critical deadlines.

+ Must be able to coordinate decisions across multiple stakeholders.

+ Able to manage multiple projects and initiatives in varying size and scope simultaneously.

+ Ability to manage a meeting end-to-end: agenda, presentation, strong written and verbal skills, note taking and follow through on actions and deliverables.

+ Self-Directed individual who will seek out information as needed to achieve the right outcomes.

+ Comfortable operating with limited resources and doing hands on work to get the job done.
