Director Behavioral Qualitative

What You Will Do as a Key member of our Team:


As a Director of Behavioral Qualitative at Behaviorally, imagine yourself:

  • Responsible for designing, leading and delivering all aspects of online and in person qualitative research.
  • Plan, manage and moderate qualitative research including ethnographies, shopalongs. IDIs, bulletin boards, focus groups both in person and online
  • Translate research into actionable outcomes and opportunities
  • Prepare and present qualitative research findings to clients via thoughtful, clear and succinct, story driven research reports that provide actionable insights
  • Develop and maintain client relationships with current and prospective research clients
  • Have the ability to deliver concise and thought-provoking research proposals
  • Lead and mentor support team
  • Work closely with Behaviorally quantitative team, ensuring qualitative insights are shared and integrated into client deliverables

Desired skills and experience:


To qualify and succeed, in the challenging but rewarding world we do business in, you will need:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong writing and analytical skills - must be able to demonstrate strategic thinking
  • Possess strong consultancy and communication skills, and have proven success in building strong, successful client relationships
  • Experience in primary consumer research and a solid background in qualitative research – both in person and digital
  • Experience structuring and facilitating ideation sessions/workshops
  • A background in shopper, ecommerce, packaging or CPG related business (e.g. communications)
  • Strong planning skills with the ability to identify priorities, processes, and actions for multiple projects simultaneously
