Charles Schwab's Practice & Standards team is responsible for the strategic planning, business analysis, concept design and change management of our wealth management delivery professionals at Schwab. We work, think and approach problems differently than your traditional financial services firm, and we drive to change how Schwab operates and how the industry serves investors. We aim to serve a wide range of investors with premier wealth management solutions that are needs-based, modern, innovative, accessible, and value-oriented. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring the progress of delivering a consistent wealth management experience comprised of people, process, and technology to serve clients with scale and consistency.
We are looking for an experienced leader well versed in rep experience, digital experience, agile transformation, process, workflow, and tool design to support operational excellence in our wealth management delivery ecosystem. This role requires a highly resourceful, determined individual with the ability to partner, execute, and lead through influence and collaboration across enterprise. The Director will report to the Practice & Standards Business Lead and work closely with enterprise business vertical leads to design and deliver a comprehensive and elegant rep experience.

Key responsibilities include:
- Define and develop best-in-class practices to support the delivery of our highly complex wealth and advice ecosystem.
- Define and implement rep workflows to enable a streamlined and impactful delivery experience encompassing onboarding and enrollment, initial advice consultation and delivery to ongoing client engagement and support.
- Design and implement effective processes and tools across the enterprise to deliver consistent and measurable outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
- 10+ years in financial services focused on rep experience, digital experience, and operational workflows
- 5+ years people management experience
- Technical background with a keen understanding of broader business needs and how they elegantly integrate
- Experience in determining how to re-define and evolve delivery processes and integrate tools to automate and standardize
- Ability to make significant progress with minimal direction and to make decisions, pivot, and structure pathways forward in the face of ambiguity
- Leadership and relationship-building skills, including ability to influence and build consensus across multiple stakeholders and enterprises
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively present to all levels of the organization, including senior management
- Shown ability to effectively build relationships, establish trust, respect, competence, and confidence
