The Los Angeles Rams are looking for a Director, Partnership Management to come in and be a dynamic leader and individual contributor within our Partnership Management team. The Partnership Management team prides itself on its award-winning work that includes the “2022 Team of The Year” from the Clio Awards, and other award-winning campaigns that have been recognized across sports and entertainment.
The team is looking for a candidate who will continue to help us raise the bar and challenge the status quo on how we bring to life sports and entertainment partnerships. The Director, Partnership Management will lead a large and complex set of partnership accounts that requires someone who is self-sufficient, motivated, a strategic thinker and has a solution-oriented mindset approach to their business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a complex portfolio of partner accounts that include founding level partners that require proficient organizational skills along with a creative mindset to exceed partner expectations.
- Collaborating with Partnership Team leaders on strategic vision and implementation of partner involvement in international, premium content production, and other organizational priorities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across multiple departments to work cross functionally to create and deliver year-round partnership assets.
- Contribute to department growth by being a thought leader and working alongside teammates in sharing best practices and bringing new ideas.
- Lead, articulate and present a creative vision of integrated sponsorship presentations to internal and external decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Partnership Operations to create and deliver world-class partner events and experiences.
- Ability to partner and drive renewal extensions and upsells with partnership sales team through creating meaningful partner relationships and be able to identify strategic growth opportunities through a clear understanding of a partners KPI’s.
- Oversee a Partnership Management coordinator by having oversight of their business portfolio and ensuring their professional development by providing mentorship along with clearly articulating role expectations.
- Work closely with the Partnerships Strategy team to ensure that the partnership is meeting and exceeding the partner’s ROI through monthly insights meetings and can articulate data-driven storytelling.
- Maintain regular communication with partner stakeholders through weekly and bi-weekly meetings. Efficiency in owning and managing partner P&L to ensure accurate account expense activity and maintain account growth.
- Ability to put together comprehensive presentations and identify areas of strength and growth in the recap process alongside Partnership Sales & Strategy.
- Comfortable working with project management tools to ensure that all accounts are tracking positively, and deliverables are meeting internal and external deadlines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of eight (8) + years of full-time experience required in partnership sales, activation, or experiential marketing
- Proven leadership capabilities by leading and executing higher level partnership programming and execution along with the ability to lead junior team members
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deepen relationships with key stakeholders beyond day-to-day contacts
- Strategic and critical thinker who is dynamic, forward thinking, and extremely well organized
- Demonstrable experience leading cross functional workstreams and balancing multiple objectives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability and desire to create meaningful business relationships
- Proficient presentation and communication skills, including the ability to provide clear creative direction and interaction with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Key characteristics include ability to work well with others in a team environment, self-motivated and self-directed, strong research, and analytical skills
Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000
