Director Of Water Resources

Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Director of Water Resources Engineer to their Chicago team!

Responsibilities:

• Serve as an industry expert and oversee the technical components of H&H modeling/analysis and stormwater facility design
  
• Maintain standard operation procedures for Hydrologic and Hydraulics (H&H) modeling/analysis
  
• Perform quality control on H&H studies/design
  
• Ensure QA/QC standards are met
  
• Mentor/train junior staff
  
• Develop Hydrologic and Hydraulic models for municipal storm sewer/sanitary collection systems
  
• Serve as Technical Lead for Drainage Studies/Stormwater Masterplans, Streambank Restoration Assessment/Design and Floodplain Mitigation
  
• Work with permitting agencies for local, state and federal permits
  

Requirements:

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
  
• Master’s degree in Water Resources Engineering preferred
  
• 12+ years of stormwater project design
  
• PE License
  
• Experience with infrastructure design/plan preparation
  
• Extensive knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics and H&H modeling (SWMM, ICM, HEC, etc.)
