Director of Trust Operations
Position Summary: Manages a team that performs all operational duties.

Position Summary: Manages a team that performs all operational duties.
Essential Functions:
- Direct liaison between management and trust accounting services vendors.
- Handle administrative changes to trust accounting system.
- Set up all new and transferring accounts and post assets to these accounts.
- Monitor, maintain and reconciles all trust assets.
- Reconcilement of trust checking account.
- Order mutual fund trades and settlement of all trades.
- Settlement of fees.
- Set up new fee and investment schedules as necessary.
- Submit wires and ACHs as necessary. Print and mail checks, or internal bank tickets, for client distributions and bills.
- Post monthly factors to mutual funds and indexes.
- Facilitate closing of accounts.
- Submit tax payments to IRS and state governments.
- Facilitate submission of year-end tax information.
- Prepare month end exceptions report for management.
- Verify and approve monthly balancing of suspense accounts.
- Procurement of month end numbers for management and board reports.
- Complete Quarterly Call Report.
- Manage and cross-train other employees on operations, including both Operations Staff and those located in our branch locations.
- Work with management and trust accounting system provider to develop a strategic plan for operations staffing.
Other Responsibilities:
- Assists management with reviewing and interpreting vendor contracts and making additions or changes to providers, as necessary.
- Assists management in maintaining complete and current procedures for department.
- Researches and applies proper regulations.
- Perform job duties in accordance with all appropriate laws and regulations, including BSA.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and skills required:
- College degree is preferred.
- Formal trust school, with emphasis on trust operations, is preferred.
- Good mathematical, balancing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Experience with Office 365.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
