- Oversee and manage all aspects of Nursing operations within the facility
- Implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care, and improving quality measures.
- Ability to assist Administrator in managing Survey.
- Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, to coordinate patient care
- Monitor and assess resident health conditions, providing appropriate interventions as necessary
- Manage shift schedules and staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their well-being and safety
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in nursing practices and maintain a strong knowledge of anatomy systems
- Valid nursing license (RN or BSN) in the state of Texas
- Proven experience inLong-Term Care
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong knowledge of resident rights and regulations governing long-term care facilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and make critical decisions
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and other relevant software applications
