Director Of Internal Audit - Private Equity & Bdc

We are actively recruiting aDirector of Internal Auditwith experience auditing private equity and business development companies (BDCs)to join our team in a full-time role.Auditing of BDCs and SOX compliance experience is required. DLA has always had a very flexible work model where time will be split between NYC client sites and work-from-home.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review budget and forecasting analysis for projects
• Develop and maintain appropriate client relationships
• Perform quality assurance reviews on projects conducted by other Directors
• Manage the project billing and receivables processes
• Collect receivables from clients

Knowledge & Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business (MBA preferred)
• CPA or CIA preferred
• Minimum of 10 years related experience with a concentration in Asset Management, specializing in private equity and business development companies (BDCs)
• Professional services experience required, preferably with Big 4 or large consulting firm
• BDC and Internal controls/SOX experience required
• Experience producing and delivering communications to the executive level
• Project management experience
• Prior experience managing a team
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated analytical ability
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience summarizing results and producing management reports
• Strong computer proficiency, specifically with MS Office
