The Director of Development (DOD) is responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette's (PPCW) major gifts program, with a focus on community centric fundraising and ensuring application of an equity lens in all areas. The DOD supervises the Major Gifts Team and is a member of the Development Department's Leadership Team, who work closely with the Vice President of Development (VP of Development) in the oversight of strategy for the department. The DOD will also provide direction and support to the CEO, VP of Development, and PPCW's Board of Directors in the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major, endowment, capital, restricted and planned gifts. In addition, the DOD manages major donor and planned giving stewardship programs and serves as an enthusiastic spokesperson for Planned Parenthood in the community.
Compensation: $83,000 - 100,000 annually, depending on experience

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours) Monday - Friday; schedule flexibility and weekend availability will be discussed during the hiring process.
Position Details: This is a non-represented, salaried (exempt) position. PPCW complies with all Federal and State Covid-19 Vaccine Mandates. This position is currently remote due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five [5] years of experience with major or planned giving fundraising including successful staff management and mentorship experience.
- Proven experience and success in securing five-figure gifts.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Evidence of continuing education in relevant fields.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required.
