The Global Communications team is responsible for how we communicate about the company to key stakeholders, including employees, media, consumer, partners and policymakers. Our job is to craft the right narratives that support StubHub's mission to become the go-to destination for access to any live event anywhere in the world. We work cross-functionally with every facet of the business - from Product to Partnerships, Supply to Fulfillment, Customer Support to Acquisition Marketing and more - to help build our reputation, raise brand awareness and affinity for StubHub and our international counterpart viagogo, as well as create and foster how we communicate with our employees worldwide.
As Director, Internal Communications, you'll spearhead and execute our internal communications strategy to help employees understand business goals, priorities and have strategic alignment across the organization. This person will work closely with leadership and cross-functional partners on how to codify our company culture and operating principles and cascade the right information to our workforce and will help develop a framework for ensuring that our team across the company understands what other teams are building and doing and how the work they do can contribute to our ongoing success and growth.
We'd love to see an Internal Communications leader with:
10+ years' experience developing and executing effective, innovative internal communications campaigns, ideally for a diverse global workforce
Ability to think both creatively and strategically, likes building and can articulate a compelling narrative
Outstanding people and project management skills, who can inspire while managing multiple time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines and who's not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things done
Experience building confidence and trust with all levels of internal stakeholders and have a track record of working effectively with executive leadership (C-suite level) and a broad range of cross-functional partners
Strong writing and communication skills who can synthesize critical information and help cascade that across the organization in the right way
Comfort in providing guidance and feedback to senior executives
Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, adapt quickly and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
As the Head of Internal Communications, you'll be able to:
Define and execute an internal communications strategy for the global StubHub/viagogo team that increases visibility and leads to stronger execution and innovation
Drive the content and channel strategy, overseeing all internal comms channels and efforts
Help develop and hone the brand's voice as well better ways to codify and articulate the company's mission and operating principles
Spearhead regular All Hands and Town Hall meetings and find additional effective ways to communicate and cascade important information to employees
Work collaboratively with cross-functional team members across the organization to ensure that communication is consistent and has the appropriate context
Partner with External Communications counterparts and other key functions to effectively align StubHub's storytelling across stakeholder audiences

The anticipated gross salary range for this role is $210,500-$275,000 per year. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub's total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
