Restaurant365 is looking for an experienced Head of Enterprise Program Management to coordinate and track our strategic initiatives and large cross-functional transformational projects. This is a new role that will work closely with the CFO and the VP of Technology to define an operating model and launch our Enterprise Program Management Office that maximizes efficiency and minimizes bureaucracy. It is a highly visible role that will directly partner with executives and business stakeholders to ensure that our long-range roadmaps and strategic objectives are executed with excellence. You will be an individual contributor in the beginning as we incubate the PMO and prove its value to the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned PMO leader to influence best practices and build the function from the ground up.
How you'll add value:
- Establish the PMO charter, operating model, and reporting for executives and stakeholders.
- Define a project intake, sizing, and prioritization process tied to the annual and quarterly OKR process.
- Work across technology and business teams in the execution of strategic roadmaps that enables the scaling and transformation of company business processes.
- Create trusted business partnerships and learn the interdependencies of teams, applications, and integrations that drive business operations and performance.
- Implement a modern and agile approach to program and project governance and reporting.
- Define both top-down and bottom-up prioritization and resource planning processes, so that inputs are collected from all players and stakeholders.
- Partner with the FP&A teams in the budget planning and allocation of budgets and capital resources.
- Embody and evolve the Agile delivery model for delivery teams to ensure consistency in the execution and consolidation of reporting metrics.
- Lead with accountability as your authentic self with empathy, transparency, and mentoring.
- Embrace ambiguity and other duties as assigned.
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and applicable work experience.
- 10 years of corporate experience in program and project management for mid to large organizations.
- 3 years in a leadership role, leading a Program Management Office and mentoring a cross-functional team of project managers and scrum masters.
- PMP, PMI, Scrum or other related certifications preferred.
- Industry experience preferences from the technology sector (SaaS, software, B2B) or restaurant sector.
- A hands-on leader comfortable in both player and coach roles, and experience managing a mix of resources on remote teams onshore and abroad.
- Significant experience leading complex, cross-functional projects with multiple partners.
- Experience building business cases, cost/benefit analysis, and executive justification narratives.
- Strong relationship-building skills and experience working closely with executives in the adoption and execution of a unified enterprise planning process.
- Prior experience building an enterprise program/project (PMO) function from the ground up.
- Experience managing SLA-driven data operations with responsibility for uptime, delivery, consistency, scalability, and continuous improvement of data infrastructure and business solutions.
- Ability to understand and translate business requirements into analytic solutions and be a subject matter expert in business data analysis.
- Extensive experience with Agile framework and delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with Monday.com and JIRA or similar project management and scrum tools.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills, with the ability to relate technical solutions to business terminology and goals effectively and concisely to executives, team members and others.
- Strong remote team leadership qualities with ability to work independently and across many time zones and outsource partners.
