The Director, Enterprise Architect will develop and maintain a comprehensive and modern Enterprise Architecture strategy that supports AGCO's Farmer-first journey as well as our internal business partners. The incumbent will focus on building ASIS to TOBE roadmaps for ERP, MES, PLM, Security, Data, AI, Automation, Enabling IT, and Infrastructure and be a subject matter expert for Enterprise Architecture solutions. This newly created organization also includes an innovation team and will contribute to the industry 4.0, 5.0 and new ways of managing technology outcomes. This role is responsible to drive the Enterprise Architecture as Strategy and drive EAF framework across enterprise technologies.
Your Impact
- This role will focus on building our architecture foundations with an emphasis on scaling to drive growth and simplicity
- You will define the strategy, roadmap and implementation of our IT Technology stack, lead teams of Product Managers, Enterprise Application Teams, UX Design, be the liaison to other business functions, and oversee the design and maintenance of AGCO’s overall technology strategy, including the underlying information, application, and technological architecture
- Lead application ERP, MES, PLM design with internal stakeholders and application development teams, implement and monitor application development stages, and document application development processes
- Partner with other IT Leaders to redesign unified solutions including ERP, CRM, Infrastructure, Security and data systems
- Oversee the design and evaluation of business-specific application needs, ensuring a balance between technology investments and company goals, and work closely with Senior Leadership to articulate technical concepts in a comprehensible manner
- Design & lead implementations of solutions architecture across a group of specific business applications or technologies based on enterprise and segment business strategy, business capabilities and business requirements
- Regularly communicate IT architecture updates and strategies to senior leadership and key stakeholders, including preparation of executive level presentations
- Grow the maturity of Enterprise and Solution Architecture through the introduction of Evolutionary Architecture concepts and providing consulting support to application architects within projects to ensure the project is aligned with the overall Enterprise Architecture strategy
Your Experience and Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles
- 8+ years of experience in Architecture
- 5+ years of technology architecture experience
- Strong business and emerging technology skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at the senior leadership and executive level
