- Lead large/small format team to develop and produce strategic flavor insights fact-based sales presentations based on multiple data point-of-sales and consumer data sources to support retailer and distributor meetings
- Manage a team working across multiple retail channels and third-party vendor solutions
- Work between Sales and Marketing to ensure that sales strategies are aligned to our brand and portfolio strategies when presenting insights to external partners
- Assist the Sr. Director of Category Insights by helping to drive the team's long-term vision and goals and evolve our Flavor First narrative to maintain our flavor insights leadership position
- Develop personnel through mentoring and leadership of direct report employees
- Present insights at external retailer and distributor meetings
- Promote cross-functional collaboration across the broader Marketing group by leveraging third-party vendor capabilities and data sources
- Help MABI to extract more value from third-party vendor partners and achieve a greater ROI from existing investments in syndicated data solutions
- Explore potential new third-party vendor partnerships to expand capabilities and compliment existing solutions
- Utilize shopper panel data to provide flavor consumer insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Utilize research and sales trends to present best in class shelf strategies
Qualifications, Education, & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced Degree is a plus
- 7-10 years of proven category insights experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
- 7-10 years of experience in analyzing/ interpreting data and project management experience
- Strong leadership and influencing skills: ability to direct activities of individual team members towards goals
- Demonstrated ability to work across functions, business units and geographies
- Advanced Syndicated Scan & Panel Data Analysis (IRI, Nielsen, Numerator)
- Experience in the Beverage Alcohol Industry is preferred
