We are a small, licensed provider agency looking for some fun and outgoing individuals to join our team. We have customers in need of immediate placement with providers in The Tri-County area. Full-time and Part-time availability.
This position acts as a front-line support for community-based services and activities for individuals the agency serves in Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington Counties.
Providers implement individualized service plan supports for adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities (I/DD) in ways that maximize the independence and self-esteem of individuals served by the agency. These supports include Attendant Care, Skills Training and Day Support Activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in personal care or other related fields
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Required Skills

● Ability to transport individuals in the community via your vehicle or public transportation.
● Ability to pass a background check through DHS.
● CPR/FA certification; required before working with a client one to one, and within 90 days of employment.
Duties
There will be varied aspects to this job which makes it interesting and fun. Community and Attendant Care supports include, but are not limited to:
1. Assisting clients with household chores, organization, shopping, budgeting, meal planning, hygiene, community integration, behavior supports, communication, problem solving, transportation, and other tasks as applicable or prescribed by the ISP.
2. As an employee of TIL it is expected that you communicate effectively and can produce well written documentation of services provided within 24 hours of end of shifts.
3. Employees are expected to attend meetings and trainings as part of their employment. The schedule is flexible to meet everyone’s needs, however there will be occasional evenings, weekends, and possible overnights.
4. The employee will be expected to maintain appropriate boundaries as prescribed by the state, TIL, ISP, PBSP, the client, and personal boundaries, including but not limited to borrowing/loaning money, phone calls, personal space, timeliness, appropriate sharing of information, and providing respectful supports.
5. A minimum of 12 hours of in-service training annually to include mandatory abuse reporting.
6. CPR and first aid training is required every 2 years.
