Position Description
The Director of Residential Services has 24 hour a day, seven day a week responsibility for the Residential Treatment Center. Responsible for the implementation of individual treatment plans for each resident. Oversee the Behavior Management Plan for the unit. Supervision of all milieu and case management staff. Responsible for adherence to all DCFS licensing regulations.

List job requirements
Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling required.
Experience: 5+ years experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in a residential setting. Three years supervisory experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Illinois Clinical Social Work License (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) required.
Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of case management, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, family therapy theory and practice. Knowledge of theory and practice of mental health assessments. Knowledge of Rule 384 and other DCFS licensing standards for residential care. Knowledge of Medicaid Part 132. Able to work cooperatively with other residential staff and involved community agencies. Good organization skills, as well as oral and written communication skills.
