Bring your passion for skiing or snowboarding! You’ll lead our digital marketing efforts through all our main channels to connect with our audience, share the fun and passion, publish important information, coordinate advertising campaigns, and drive sales and visitation. You’ll have your own office at the mountain, as well as the option to work remote up to three days a week.
Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is lots to do all year long.
Responsibilities
As the Digital Marketing Manager, you are responsible for planning, creating, and managing content, campaigns, journeys, and optimization in all of The Summit’s digital channels to accomplish marketing and business objectives for the resort. You are strong at writing copy that connects with our audience and you know the importance of staying true to the brand, yet are also comfortable creating compelling design assets with Adobe tools to help tell the story. You pride yourself in taking the initiative to plan, create, and deploy content for the resort’s website, email marketing, social media, and mobile app. You are comfortable working on your own, collaborating with the team, and are a supportive leader for the four to five team members that report to the Digital Marketing Manager.
The Digital Marketing manager also collaborates with the marketing team and outside agencies to develop and manage various digital advertising campaigns that drive sales of key products.
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for resort content strategy, creation and publishing.
- Responsible for accurate and timely snow and mountain report operations and the distribution of updates and information through guest facing channels.
- Publishing timely resort updates and information through all digital channels.
- Write, publish, and manage all content on The Summit’s websites and mobile app.
- Manage snow reporters, content coordinator, and content specialist to capture, produce and publish daily content as well as larger photo and video projects.
- Responsible for social media strategy, calendar, budget, and social scheduling/listening application for all resort accounts.
- Responsible for creating and managing resort email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Including strategy, creative development, all copy writing, audience building, programming automation, analysis and optimization.
- Accountable for key performance indicators associated with digital properties and mediums including, but not limited to; social media, email, google, mobile app, and website.
- Utilize key metrics to continually improve reach, engagement, conversion and guest/user experience.
- Helps manage resort acquisition funnel, as well as analyze and optimize digital experiences.
- Assist with product development, optimization, and growth strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop and manage digital advertising campaigns.
Qualifications
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or business-related field
- Excellent communication skills, strong ability to write relatable and relevant copy that connects with snow sports and outdoor enthusiasts
- Proficient in core suite of Microsoft apps, Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom, and each major social media platform
- Passion for outdoor recreation with advanced skiing/snowboarding ability
- Sharp problem solver with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work well and collaborate in a team environment
- Self-starter that takes initiative
Preferred Candidates will have experience in one or many of the following:
- Multiple years of digital marketing or content management experience
- Email marketing experience, or experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Experience managing medium to large brand social channels
- Experience in Ingeniux or Site Core CMS
- Experience leading a small team
- Experience managing projects
- Basic or above proficiency in Google Analytics or other marketing or business analytics solutions

Wage and Benefit Info:
The wage range for this positions is: from $20 to $26 DOE
Benefits include: health, dental, vision
Team member will accrue PTO and will earn 2 weeks or more in a 12 month period.
All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).
All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
