Purpose:
You will be accomplishing the various tasks necessary to assemble micro-electronic assemblies for production. This job performs the standard assembly, die bonding, wire bonding, and installation steps for the components required in production line assemblies.
You are accountable for:
- Working with K&S ICONN Wire bonders, Dage and West Bond wire pull equipment. Also setting up and running Besi Datacon 2200 and Micron Die Attach machines, Topaz Chip Shooter, Asymtek epoxy dispense, EKRA and DEK printers.
- Maintaining logs and paperwork and forms accurately in line with company policy and practices.
- Exceeding production schedules and deadlines in accordance with quality standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Performing a variety of electrical/mechanical product assembly operations on assemblies.
- Populating PCB's from Work Instructions and Assembly Drawings / Bills of Material.
- Studying assembly instructions and following blueprint specifications.
- Using written instructions to assemble, modify, rework or reassemble units.
- Carrying out basic and routine electronic assembly operations on components or subassemblies.
- Understanding of Die attach, Wire bond, Epoxy Dispense, Flipchip, Wafer Die Eject, Die Attach Films, Material Handling Loaders and Unloaders, Conveyors, Screen and Stencil Printing, Chip Shooter/Passive Component Attach.
- Keeping daily records and periodically summarizing activities.
- Being occasionally required to work overtime.
- Interfacing with Engineers and Program Managers.
- Capability to run and multi-task between 2 to 3 machines.
- Knowledge of scope equipment integral to this position.
- Processing transactions on Oracle (ERP) system.
Responsibility Statement:
Assembling components by positioning parts and sub-assemblies examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies. Cleaning PCB's and assemblies throughout process and after completion Maintaining logs and paperwork and forms accurately consistent with company policy and practices Exceeding production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards other duties as assigned Performing a wide variety of electrical/mechanical product assembly operations on components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies. Populating PCB's from Work Instructions and Assembly Drawings / Bills of Material Preparing assembly work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and following blueprint specifications Skilled at carrying out two or three of the following job duties; Board Mount; Soldering SMT components on PCB's; Assembling PCB's into housings; Epoxy sealing of completed assemblies; Wire bonding; Sub Attach or Die Attach.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-2(+) years of wire bond experience
- Capability to multi-task concurrently
- Good hand and eye coordination
- Ability to read assembly drawings
- Ability to work with general instruction on daily activities
- Basic reading writing in English
- Basic computer knowledge
- Must be willing to work overtime on Saturdays when needed

- Continually meeting/exceeding production schedules and deadlines in accordance with quality standards.

- Populating PCB's from Work Instructions and Assembly Drawings / Bills of Material.
- Making assembly work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and following blueprint specifications.
