Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary: starting at $40,000

About the Role
The Development and Events Administrative Assistant is responsible for a variety of departmental administrative tasks, including scheduling, meeting minutes, supporting the Annual Giving Officer on LADD events, the OTR Film Festival Manager on film festival events and CDO with volunteer coordination.
Essential Functions of the Role
  • Organizes meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and other meeting/location logistics including travel arrangements
  • Assists with preparation of reports and volunteer intake and scheduling for LADD and the OTR Film Festival
  • Provides on and off-site support during the lead up and execution of development events
  • Point of contact with contractors and partners
  • Works with data coordinator to keep event records in development database up to date
Candidate Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of experience in administration, event planning or similar
  • Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, and ability to prioritize and keep track of multiple projects
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse groups of people
  • Database management experience
  • Excellent computer knowledge and skills using Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software and application platforms
  • Adept at social media
Work Environment
  • Work schedule will normally be Monday through Friday and may include weekends and/or evenings
  • Job will include being in an office environment as well as remote sites; and will require travel to other locations
  • Job will require mobility within event venues and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without assistance
