Job Description: Design Room Admin – Apparel Manufacturing
Status: Non-Exempt
Hours: 8 hours per day; 40 hours per week
The Design Room Admin plays a key role in our operations as the liaison between the Sales, Design and Production Departments. This role will ensure that all customer orders are accurate and will follow all steps in the approval process working with our Sales, Design and Production team to ensure consistent, efficient, and timely order processing.
Duties, Responsibilities & Requirements
1. Assist design room with varied responsibilities including assigning trim codes, cutting swatches, requesting yields.
2. Photographing and shipping samples
3. Assist with order processing
4. Follow-up with Pre-Production, Imports, and Customer Service on all orders.
5. Prepare, track and distribute weekly selling reports
6. Misc. design room tasks
7. Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems
8. Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work independently
**Must be detailed oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. **
2-3 Years garment experience desired.
There may be occasions when your assistance in other areas or on other projects may be needed and appreciated.
