Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work On-Site with our Client in Archbald, PA. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- Client seeks a level 2 Design Engineer to design significant components, substantial portions of a functional system, technically advanced prototypes, promotional products, or specific products.
- Develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
- Develop primary data and make preliminary layouts, sketches, and notes necessary to present the design proposal.
- Investigate pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replaceability, strength-weight efficiency, and contractual specification requirements and cost.
- Coordinates with other organizations affected by design development.
- Makes layouts of assemblies and details parts of devices, mechanisms, structures, and products.
- Checks completed layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to standards, procedures, specifications, and accuracy of calculations and dimensioning.
- Identifies design errors, omissions, and other deficiencies and recommends revisions or improvements in design layout to responsible engineers or designers.

Pay: $42.00 Hourly OT40.
Hours: 40hr/week/1st Shift
Length: Temporary (12 Months)

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of CREO modeling and drawing experience for mechanical assemblies, weldments, and parts.
- Minimum of 3 years experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Minimum of 2 years experience in 3D Models.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Master's Degree
- Experience with military specifications and requirements.
- Model-based design and engineering experience.
- Thermal or structural analysis.
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Ability to Read Engineering Drawings
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
