Women's Design Concepts
Overview
The Design Assistant is responsible for supporting the Concept Development team in developing product from approved design through turnover.
Responsibilities
- Supports team in execution of design projects from approved 2D design through 3D development
- Maintains accurate line plans in PLM and manages product information in the system, including archiving
- Partners with stones and purchasing departments to order materials needed for design process
- Supports the team keeping the workspace physically organized
- Manages sample photography.
- Assists in creation of spec sheets and pricing requests
- Contribute to meeting prep for all design presentations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience in jewelry design and stones is preferred.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Creative aesthetic in keeping with that of the David Yurman brand.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education: Bachelor's degree in design or related field required

Working mode: In Office
Estimated salary range: $25-27 per hour
Base pay is one component of David Yurman's total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
