The Cliffs Residential Builders is seeking a Design Administrator to support our Residential Designers in creating exceptional homes within The Cliffs communities. Responsibilities:
Assist Residential Designers: Support designers in selecting and ordering interior and exterior materials for homes, ensuring adherence to design standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to compile selections into comprehensive design documents for homeowner approval.
Quoting and Pricing: Request quotes and pricing for design elements, facilitating cost-effective decisions.
Vendor Coordination: Order samples from vendors and subcontractors, managing relationships to ensure timely delivery.
Purchase Orders and Change Orders: Create and process purchase orders and change orders using construction management software.
Data Management: Maintain design data and documents within construction management software, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Design Center Maintenance: Preserve the aesthetic and functionality of the Design Center by organizing and displaying samples appropriately.
Administrative Support: Provide clerical and administrative assistance to Residential Designers, including handling client communication.
Budgeting and Scheduling: Assist in budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with the construction team as needed.
Inventory Management: Receive goods daily, update inventory spreadsheets, and ensure proper organization.
Client File Management: Maintain client files, including breakdown after closing.
Design Software Proficiency: Utilize design software such as InDesign, AutoCAD, Revit, and Chief Architect for design tasks.
Requirements:
Education: Associate degree or higher in a related field recommended.
