Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Assurance Deputy Framework Manager to join our team at the Annapolis Junction, Maryland location within the Information Assurance Framework.
This role will require close coordination with the Government and Senior Program Leadership to support the development and maintenance of operational processes and the ability to manage resources to meet contract requirements and maintain budget objectives. The Deputy Framework Manager will track framework and program deliverables, peer review client deliverables and responses to client inquiries, ensure the coordination of regular team building activities, and provide input to the Award Fee Self-Assessment to assist the Framework Manager in meeting the Framework's goals and objectives and furthering the team's mission.
The individual may be asked to prepare interview questions, conduct interviews, make hiring recommendations, assign work roles, and establish both training and operational processes to ensure success. The individual shall ensure training is conducted to maintain adequate human resources to meet the challenges of the team's mission. The individual shall coordinate with Government officials to present or clarify support requirements. The individual shall assist in the onboarding of new employees, to review the team goals and expectations, and enforce compliance standards for both the customer and ManTech. The individual shall attend meetings and sign timecards in the Frame Lead's absence. The individual shall be willing to assist with additional tasks that may arise in order to assist the Framework Manager and the Program in meeting its delivery objectives.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain system security certification and accreditation services for our Information Technology (IT) systems in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Interface with customers, various locations and vendors, to resolve security problems and provide information on containment or resolution.
- Ensure that problems have been properly identified and solutions will satisfy the customer's requirements.
- Apply knowledge of Information Assurance policies, procedures, and workforce structures to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
- Interact with the Intelligence Community (IC) customer and other project team members to support the customer in the enforcement of secure designs of systems and architectures.
- Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management using the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Identify overall security requirements for the proper handling and protection of government data.
- Executing the customer's continuous monitoring steps for authorized systems to ensure that security controls are adequately maintained, and system users adhere to policies.
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrated strength in consistently meeting delivery targets.
- Demonstrated strength in resource management with the ability to manage teams, personnel and customers' needs.
- Highly developed oral and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical and business concepts to various audiences, as well as the ability to persuade, inspire and lead through influence.
- Experience effectively managing and satisfying small- and large-scale projects of a business or technical nature.
- Commitment to provide continuous process improvements and excellence in customer service across the program.
- Ability to handle complex customer situations and interact with all levels of personnel to provide a quick and effective resolution.
- Five (5) years of experience as an ISSO, ISSE, or other Information Security/Cybersecurity role.
- Two (2) years of experience in a role as a project manager or people manager.
- Bachelor's degree in technical related discipline from an accredited college or university or equivalent is required.
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills necessary for quickly developing recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative data from many different types of sources.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior ISSO or ISSE experience with a Department of Defense (DoD) customer.
- PMP certification.
- Experience with Splunk dashboards and analyzing data outputs for trends.
- Cyber and/or IT certifications such as Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or CompTIA's Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP).
Security Clearance Requirements:
- TS/SCI with polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as the copy machine/computer printer.
