***Previous Dental Manufacturer Sales preferred but Medical Sales experience required***

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for managing sales activities within a specific territory. This requires regular consultative contact with every account, and distributor sales teams in the designated territory to grow dental product sales with existing customers and a heavy emphasis on obtaining new customers. This position is expected to grow sales and form business relationships with dental clinics and a network of dental dealers in the assigned territory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Accountable to achieve quarterly sales goals by actively participating and executing key sales initiatives and programs.
  • Owns sales activities within the territory: prospecting, calling on existing customers, and building/growing a professional network
  • Prospects, Grows, and manages dental sales in a specific territory as defined by Regional Manager, this requires face to face consultative contact with customers, dental dealers and regular business reviews.
  • Actively seeks out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
  • Plans, organizes, and implements effective selling strategies using all company resources to increase market share in assigned territory
  • Attends all required sales meetings, dental conventions, seminars, internal training programs, and industry events as instructed by manager to promote event selling/creating deeper relationship with customer.

SPECIFIC SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: 

  • Professional selling skills
  • Dental product and industry knowledge highly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
  • Excellent computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office suite, e-mail and CRM
  • Ability to learn, and become the expert in dental instrument and all company product lines

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: 

At least 2 years prior medical sales experience required, Dental Manufacturer Sales experience preferred.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: 

-Bachelor's Degree required
