Deburr Operator

Allied is currently looking for a Deburr associate to effectively deburr and pack holders. Issue material for Revolution Drill, Opening drill holders and cartridges. Assemble bodies, cartridges as well as installing shanks on the bodies. Schedule is 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

Requirements

• Use blueprints and gauging instruments to verify holders have been processed to print tolerances
• Use routings to verify all previous processes are complete
• Effectively file blade slot to remove burr
• Effectively clean out gun drill and collant outlet holes
• Effectively buff body, shank and blade slot
• Place holders in individual tubes, and then box for shipping to external operations as applicable
• May be required to lift, or assist with lifting 30 pounds or more
• Observe and report any areas that need addressed
• Process orders according to appropriate schedule and/or supervisor's direction, and properly stage product for the next operation.
• Stage holders on a cart and take them to the next operation, as applicable.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Experienced in use of calipers, micrometers and indicators
• Experienced in knowlege of blue prints
• Working knowledge of mill holder line
• Good organization, communication and planning skills
• Able to rotate through picking and packing
• Handle issues with pick as well as answer calls from inside sales
• Computer skills
