Job Responsibilities Include: Gather all necessary paperwork and documentation necessary to prepare the
product for shipping. Including but not limited to:
- Pricing shipments
- Requesting pickups
- Creating BOL's
- Making quantity adjustments and invoicing orders in Accuterm
- Creating and providing packing slips, verifying shipment details, creating shipment
loads and verifying they are within weight & capacity limits - Scheduling pickup, documenting shipment information in various documents, assisting in researching
shipment discrepancies and more. - Professional communication with customers
- Must be able to handle hazardous materials
- Performs other duties as assigned
In addition to the Warehouse duties, this position may be responsible for the safe, timely and accurate delivery of customer's automotive parts to their location using a company provided vehicle; per location needs.
Schedule: Mon - Fri: 9:30am - 6:00pm
Job Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
- 2+ years previous Shipping Clerk experience. (Invoicing, Documenting, Freight, Bills of lading, Researching discrepancies)
- Knowledge of Hazmat Placarding regulations
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Strong PC skills Including use of programs such as Google Mail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Google Search and Microsoft Excel.
- Will be required to learn FMP programs such as Accuterm, Indigo, TopView, FMP Directory, Ship Store, Etc.
- Strong Mathematical Skills, and High attention to detail with a positive work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to interact with various levels of management, corporate employees, truck drivers, and customers
