The duties of this position are to receive cash or checks and complete credit-card charge transactions; count money to verify amounts and issue receipts for funds received; compare totals on cash register with amount of currency in drawer to verify balances; endorse checks, list and total cash and checks for bank deposit; prepare bank deposit slips; write checks in payment of branch expenditures; compile, sort and file documents; operate basic office equipment; key data into the computer; compare data entered with source documents; compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data to be entered; process all paperwork necessary for truck deliveries.
Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent along with six months related experience. A general knowledge of computer applications and basic office equipment are required.
