Responsibilities

• Performs data collection, analysis, validation and reporting
• Designs, tests, and documents processes, SQL queries, and stored procedures
• Extracts and analyzes data from various sources, including databases, manual files, and external websites
• Responds to data inquiries from various groups within an organization
• Creates and publishes regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports
• Documents reporting and dashboard requirements and processes, and validates data components, as required
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports and performance indicators to locate and correct tracking issues
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Skills

• 5+ years of experience conducting data analysis, and having experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software
• Proven working experience with data analytics or digital marketing data
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design, data mining, and statistical techniques
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting/data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI etc), databases (MySQL etc), and statistical packages (R, STATA, SPSS etc)
• Experience with or strong desire to learn enterprise data systems and tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Workato, Fivetran, etc.
• Bachelor's degree required. Preference for background in mathematics or social sciences
• Strong preference for candidates that can learn on the job and integrate with new systems

• Strong analytical and organizational skills also essential

• Negotiation and conflict management skills
• Influencing skills and respect within the organization
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft products: Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (must have 2+ years’ experience using MS Project or equivalent)
