We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst with expertise in SQL database query, PowerBI, Excel macros, software selection, project management, and ETL.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing data, designing and optimizing databases, creating reports and visualizations, managing SharePoint sites and OneDrive libraries, selecting and implementing software solutions, managing projects, and migrating data.
Responsibilities:
• Design and optimize SQL databases and write complex queries to extract data
• Develop and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards with DAX language and advanced visualizations
• Create and automate Excel macros with VBA programming language to streamline data processing and analysis
• Set up and maintain SharePoint sites and OneDrive libraries, manage permissions, and create workflows
• Identify business requirements, evaluate software solutions, and recommend best-fit options
• Manage projects using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies and provide status reports to stakeholders
• Design and implement ETL workflows using SSIS, Talend, or Informatica to move and transform data
• Migrate data using various strategies, including manual data entry, file import/export, and database replication
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database management systems
• Experience with Microsoft PowerBI, including data modeling, visualization, and reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and functions
• Knowledge of VBA programming language and how to write macros
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive, including site collection administration, permission management, and document libraries
• Ability to identify business requirements, evaluate software solutions, and make recommendations
• Understanding of ETL processes and tools, including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Talend, or Informatica
• Experience with data migration strategies and tools like Microsoft Data Migration Assistant, Azure Database Migration Service, or AWS Database Migration Service
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
