What You Will Do:
Our Cyber Security Engineers are experienced professionals who provide security engineering expertise to our clients. They work directly with teammates and our National Security clients to execute the following job responsibilities:
- Demonstrated experience being responsible for the security architecture across a variety of applications or domains, to include cloud computing, and assigned to project/initiatives of large size, complexity and risk
- Proven ability to develop actionable security blueprints, principles, models, designs, standards and guidelines to ensure enterprise information technology architecture and support is consistent, usable, secure and adds value to the business
- Proven ability to conduct scans of networks to find vulnerabilities
- Demonstrated experience conducting testing of specified system to identify weaknesses that might be exploited by a malicious party
- Demonstrated experience conducting assessment of systems and networks for security breaches or intrusions
- Proven ability to develop actionable security blueprints, principles, models, designs, standards and guidelines
- Demonstrated experience preparing reports of findings related to assessments
- Proven ability to provide input into recommended mitigation strategies that relate to identified vulnerabilities
What You Will Need:
- An ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance and COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) polygraph; MUST be willing to upgrade to a Full Scope (FS) polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, or related discipline
- FIVE (5) years' experience as a Cyber Security Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Certifications: CompTIA Security +
- One or more of the below required within 6 months of start on contract:
- CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer
- CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker
- CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor
- CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- An ACTIVE and CURRENT TOP SECRET/SCI federal security clearance with a Full Scope/Lifestyle (FS) polygraph
- Master's degree in (Computer Science, System Engineering) or related discipline from an accredited college or university and one (1) year experience as a Cyber Security Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- PhD or JD degree in (Computer Science, System Engineering, or related discipline) from an accredited college or university
