Type of Position: Full-Time, Benefits Eligible (Medical/Dental/401K/Paid Vacations & Holidays)
Schedule & Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (Overtime Available as Needed)
Wage Rate: Hourly, Non-Exempt; $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

The Customer Service Representative will provide support to the main office staff by assisting in various clerical duties in the awning and screen departments, and by specializing in our accounts. These duties include answering customer inquiries, entering fabric order confirmations, following up with vendors regarding the status of materials and gaining a deep understanding of our customers. This position will be based at our home office in Middletown, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Review customer order forms for accuracy and reach out for clarification if needed
- Understand customer accounts variance and act as a service specialist
- Process all sample fabric requests from customers
- Review and enter fabric yardage updates and run daily fabric reports in FileMaker
- Accurately and efficiently enter and process fabric orders and send PO’s to fabric vendors in AccountEdge
- Effectively communicate with fabric vendors and follow –up with fabric order changes / updates and expected shipment dates
- Process all returns for flawed fabric with fabric vendors and ensure that credit is obtained
- Review and distribute screen and shade orders to proper personnel
- Inquire on order status of screens and shades with Production
- Track shipments (via UPS, FedEx, and other carriers) of all orders and advise of any delays
- Knowledgeable of all the products that Eclipse manufactures and promptly answer customer inquiries
- Answer incoming calls courteously and professionally and route calls to the appropriate person
- Assist other departments when needed
