Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues.

Level of education required: Associate's degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls/emails and assist customers, insurance brokers and insurance companies by providing information, answering questions and resolving issues
• Communicate internally with colleagues and managers
• Make outbound calls to insurance brokers to review accounts
• Correspond with insurance companies to obtain missing account information
• Document and update customer records based on interactions as needed
• Understand internal and external proprietary software and troubleshoot common issues with customers
• Internally assist colleagues and managers with various other tasks that may arise

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in customer service. Insurance or financial services preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and email
• Must be proactive and able to prioritize work
• Ability to build rapport with clients with superior customer service skills
• Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles is a plus
• Spanish/English Bilingual is a plus
