The impact you will make:
Comprehensive School Community Treatment (CSCT) is a School Based Service that provides therapeutic support for children and families in a manner that promotes success in school, the family and the community. Services are provided by a master’s level therapist and a specially trained mental health specialist during the school day as well as at the child’s home if needed. Therapeutic activities are also provided on non-school days during school breaks and throughout the summer vacation.
- Work with the family to determine the best treatment plan to meet the child’s needs.
- Provides a variety of professional direct care services to children and families in a public-school environment.
- Responsible for therapeutic interventions and developing significant relationships.
- Integrates with the CSCT team, the child's family, public school staff and other treating professionals to create a cohesive approach to services for children.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Behavioral Sciences (or related field).
- One to two (1-2) years of experience working with emotionally disturbed children or in an educational setting is preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age and have a valid Montana Driver’s License.
