Crusher Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician/Mechanic Job Summary
To perform diagnostic and repair work on construction equipment in the field. This person will be a specialist on Kleeman Crushers. He or she is dispatched through the service office and normally performs work with little supervision.

Crusher Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician/Mechanic Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and evaluate problems with equipment (focus on Kleeman Crushers) and make repairs using established guidelines in accordance with established flat rates
- Model safe work habits and abide by all safety policies and procedures at all times
- Keep rework within established guidelines
- Work effectively without close supervision
- Make overnight stays on or near job sites when required
- Complete required paperwork efficiently and timely
- Attend factory and other training as specified by the supervisor
- Maintain service truck in good working condition and keep it clean
- Exhibit a professional demeanor at all times with customers, managers, and colleagues
- Promote goodwill with customers and exhibit excellent customer relations behaviors
- Perform other assignments as requested by the manager
Crusher Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician/Mechanic Qualifications
- HS Education or equivalent
- Two (2) years of continuous experience in diagnosing and repairing construction equipment
- Ability to read complex hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Furnish and maintain a set of hand tools and any special tools required by the company
- Maintain valid driver’s license; CDL if required
