The Senior Director of Retail Business Strategy & Operations will supervise Crocs' Americas retail strategy and operations, provide encouraging leadership and communication to retail organization, while developing a progressive-minded retail vision in alignment with our growth and community impact strategy for the US, Puerto Rico, and Canadian business. The person in this role will stay on top of innovative, omni-channel retail digital technology and consumer experience journeys for the stores - and partner closely with our Digital teams. Additionally, this role is responsible for ensuring inventory levels are optimum by collaborating closely with our Allocation, Distribution, Logistics and Planning team. They will also be responsible for development of the organization's retail leadership team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Actively define and be responsible for the delivery of a strategic roadmap for retail operations, to improve the consumer experience
• Possess deep understanding of the competitive environment and proactively identify new and effective strategies and tactics to improve performance
• Deliver results and advance strategic direction by ensuring cohesive operations and continuous process improvement
• Exhibit constant focus on shaping retail operations by anticipating near and long-term business issues
• Collaborate with Digital and Technology partners to position retail to excel in technology for stores, and enhanced experiences, implementing dynamic strategies that permeate all critical delivery channels (order online, pickup in store, etc.) and operations
• Serve as talent champion by actively mentoring and developing an outstanding leadership team passionate about ensuring the highest-level of employee engagement
• Develop a leadership succession plan that includes equipped and diverse talent
• Effectively lead teams through organizational change in partnership with other functional areas
• Provide clear direction and intentional support to retail operations leadership to equip them to offer an outstanding consumer experience through motivated, engaged team members
• Lead and engage team consisting of 2 regional leaders, 11 District Managers, Sales Force of close to 200 strong across the US, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico, and Canada
• Create an inspirational and growth-enabled environment for staff and develop positive company philosophy

• Serve as a leader with vision, while collaborating with business colleagues to achieve organizational objectives

• Develop retail vision, strategy, and plan to drive top-line growth and bottom-line profitability
• Collaborate with Real Estate Leader to identify retail space as needed to drive business expansion and place the organization in a favorable, long-term financial position
• Conduct sales and productivity analyses and forecasts and initiate appropriate action to achieve strategic and financial goals
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting, information technology, or other relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ideal candidate will have 10+ years of demonstrated success with large, complex, multi-site/multi-state retail management, preferably in the footwear and/or fashion and apparel industry; experience with both US and Canada markets preferred
• Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and change
• Solid understanding of retail technology platforms and systems
• Understanding of DTC - Retail, Digital, Etail partnerships, Wholesale
• Knowledge of distribution networks and inventory management
• Track record of coaching, mentoring, developing, and motivating peak performance
• Demonstrated cultural competence through awareness, attitude, knowledge, and skills to work optimally with diverse group of employees and consumer populations
• Driven, fact-based, results-oriented and collaborative with a consistent track record for leading, aligning, and developing teams against objectives
• Confirmed ability to influence optimally toward outcomes in a cross-functional manner, with a history of achieving goals as part of a team
• Minimum of 50% travel
