We are currently recruiting for the position of A.M. Cracker Leader.
This position, which reports to the A.M. Cracker Supervisor, leads and coordinates production activities and rotation assignments on the Cracker lines. The incumbent supports the Cracker Operation by ensuring that finished product conforms to Company specifications and quality standards and is packaged under safe, sanitary conditions. Additional duties include serving as a Substitute Packaging and/or Processing Supervisor on an "as needed" basis and learning to perform the scheduling function.
Candidates for the position must possess a minimum of one year of previous Leader experience in a manufacturing setting. Leader responsibilities include end of shift reporting on assigned line performance and identifying and following up on any action items that will improve line efficiency, quality, or safety. The successful candidate will be required to drive improvement in an operation; a history of identifying issues and taking action to avoid recurrence is preferred. This individual will be required to utilize the Continuous Improvement tools (A3's, 5 Why's, etc.) and champion/lead Kaizen, 5S events and Focus teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as problem solving ability, are required. Computer proficiency and basic mechanical aptitude are desired.
Approximate working hours for the position are 6:30am. to 3:30pm. Because hours may vary with the production schedule, flexibility to work alternate schedules is required. Availability for overtime and weekend work is a requirement.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
