Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically skilled Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The Cost Accountant will play a critical role in managing and implementing the costing formulas developed by our contractors, ensuring accurate and timely entries into our ERP software. This role is essential for capturing precise costing data, which is pivotal for our financial analysis and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage the costing formulas developed by our contractors.
• Perform monthly inputs and updates of costing data into our ERP system.
• Ensure accurate allocation of costs to appropriate cost centers and projects.
• Conduct regular audits of cost procedures and data to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary data and insights.
• Assist in developing and maintaining internal cost accounting procedures and documentation.
• Provide detailed cost analysis and reporting to support management decisions.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Work closely with the finance team to integrate cost accounting data with overall financial analysis and reporting.
• Support the yearly audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to cost accounting.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or accounting

Work Experience

• At least 2-3 years of cost accounting experience. Experience in a manufacturing operation preferred.

Capabilities and Skills

• Strong proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel. Experience in Microsoft Dynamics F&O a significant plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation

• This position offers annual salary compensation with additional incentive compensation based on performance.
This position is classified as Exempt and is not entitled to overtime
