The Correctional Food Service Coordinator supervises and directs DOC dietary offender workers in the performance of all assigned duties and responsibilities relating to food preparation, tray assembly, modified diets, meal delivery, dietary sanitation and all other duties as assigned for the clientele of the Clarinda Correctional Facility campus. Demonstrate and teach food service techniques and procedures to dietary offender workers in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, and DOC policy and procedures. Responsible for driving delivery trucks transporting food, supplies, etc. on the CCF campus. The equivalent of two years of full-time work experience in mass food production in a commercial, military, hospital, or institutional food services setting;

an equivalent combination of experience and education substituting thirty semester (or equivalent) hours of accredited college or university coursework in dietetics, nutrition, food management or a closely related field for one year of the required experience;OR
