Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist (Hybrid)

About This Role:

The Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist works with and assists the Corporate Social Responsibility Director in all areas of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability.

Demonstrates behavior that is consistent with the company's values of Customer Satisfaction, Innovation, Family, and Social Responsibility.

This role offers a hybrid work schedule; applicants must reside within a commutable distance from our San Marcos headquarters.

Essential Job Functions/Tasks:

• Develops content for annual Corporate Social Responsibility Report and manages marketing project production.
• Manages CSR data tracking and reporting with FigBytes software platform to demonstrate achievement of corporate responsibility objectives.
• Supports tracking and follow up of internal CSR operational projects in AHA software platform.
• Coordinates campus volunteer activities and logistics around corporate social responsibility initiatives, such as Hunter Helping Others (H2O), Focus 3P, etc.
• Manages daily operations of Hunter Helping Others employee volunteering and giving platform (Benevity) including content development and reporting.
• Supports Hunter's CSR Council (internal strategy group) on meeting planning and follow up items.
• Collaborates with cross functional stakeholders to create marketing content to promote all Hunter brand's resource use efficiency and sustainability. This would include product information, training, corporate initiatives, etc.
• Develops internal corporate social responsibility communications with marketing team including content for website, emails, newsletters, and campus video screens, and manages CSR SharePoint site.
• Supports Hunter's Charitable Giving Committee and engages with community partners, including non-profit organizations and local business groups.
• Assists CSR Director with PowerPoint presentation development as needed.

Education/Training Required and Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field or a combination of education and work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree with focus on sustainability, or corporate social responsibility preferred.

Experience Required and Preferred:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Corporate Social Responsibility / Sustainability

What You Bring:

• Excellent written, oral, and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency in the use of computers required with a strong knowledge of Microsoft applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be detail-oriented and have excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Requires ability to work under minimal supervision, to self-initiate activities, and to work within timelines.
• Must have effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other departments.
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing organizational needs.
• Knowledge of sustainability principles including greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3), environmental foot printing, the triple bottom line concept (People, Planet, Profit); lifecycle analysis, sustainable supply chain. and climate action planning.
• Occasional travel to other Hunter facilities in Tijuana, Mexico and Clermont, Florida along with sustainability educational conferences.
• Bilingual with both verbal & written communication skills in Spanish preferred.
• Experience with compiling and analyzing data, developing stories, etc. for annual CSR Report
• CSR reporting experience with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework, preferred.
• Project management experience, preferred.
• Proficiency with WRIKE Project management software, preferred.
• Proficiency with Benevity employee giving and volunteering software a plus.

The hourly rate for this opportunity ranges from $27.51 to $39.37

The Company complies with all federal/local/state regulations in regard to pay. The above represents the expected hourly range for this job requisition. Compensation offered to the successful candidate will be determined by qualifications, prior experience, other job-related factors, and geographic location.
