Description
Industrial Security Integrators, LLC (IsI) is searching for an experienced, reliable, and task-oriented Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO). This position requires the ability to apply independent judgment and discretion, as well as the identification, analysis and resolution of security-related matters. This individual will report to the Director of Security Operations in a challenging, fast-paced, collaborative and rewarding environment. They will maintain the security programs for approximately thirty-five (35) small businesses with approximately eight hundred (800) Personnel Security Clearances (PCL) associated primarily with collateral and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs. The successful candidate will achieve a balance between the overall objective and specific details, take pride in their work, and strive for excellence.

Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support all security functions in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCID) regulations. Understand all U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security requirements, process all personnel security clearance documentation via the Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) system, maintain records, manage Client specific security training programs as well as prepare and administer required annual refresher training. Conduct all facility related change conditions, self-inspections, and preparing our Clients for all Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) security reviews. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Client Personnel Support
Conduct Employee briefings and debriefings
Submit visit requests as directed by the Government Customer using Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS)/ Joint Clearance and Access Verification System (JCAVS), Defense Information System for Security (DISS)/ Army Centralized Contracts and Security (ACCS) portal and other systems
Client Company Support
Update and maintain all security related databases for our Clients including JPAS/JCAVS, DISS, National Industrial Security System (NISS) and ACCS
Update and maintain data and documents in JPAS/ DISS/ NISS
Investigate incidents and security violations, conduct administrative inquiries (AI), and submit reports as required
Manage Client's safeguarding requirements to include providing document control numbers and maintaining access rosters to security containers
Prepare and execute DD Form 254s for our Clients
Act as liaison with DCSA, as required
Travel to Client sites for DCSA Assessments, potentially
Provide expert security advice and assistance to our Clients
Ensure our Clients are compliant with Facility Clearance (FCL) Government regulations
Understand our Clients' corporate structure and bylaws as they pertain to the National Industrial Security Program (NISP)
Internal IsI Support
Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of records in our Security Control (Sec-Con) database
Assist the IsI Security Team to update Standard Practices and Procedures (SPP), Annual Training, and Foreign Travel Briefings
Other
Other duties may be assigned by the AM, another member of Management and/or the IsI Executive Team
Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years as an AFSO or FSO
Clearance: Must possess, and be able to maintain, a minimum of a Secret clearance and be eligible for a Top Secret (TS) Clearance
Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
Knowledge:
o Extensive knowledge and experience utilizing JPAS/ DISS/ NISS
o Knowledge and experience utilizing ACCS preferred
Complete the following Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) Security Training, Education and Professionalization Portal (STEPP) courses prior to start, unless otherwise identified:
o FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities curriculum
o Establishing an Insider Threat Program training
o Insider Threat Awareness training
o Personally Identifiable Information (PII) training
o Cyber Awareness training
o JPAS/JCAVS training
o NISS External User training
