The Coordinator, Club Projects and Services is a seasonal member of the Club Marketing team and is primarily responsible for supporting the team by carrying out operational tasks and project contributions associated with Club and League-level initiatives. This role will liaison with multiple stakeholders and departments within Marketing and Major League Baseball. This fast-paced and challenging opportunity allows for significant contributions to the responsibilities, work and goals of the Club Marketing team.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- 4 year degree from an accredited university in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or related field, OR equivalent relevant experience
- Experience with data entry and operational tasks preferred
- Project Management experience preferred, with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects and manage priorities and expectations, as needed
- Familiarity with the game of baseball preferred
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supporting Business Needs
- Processes Club-requested check-in and ticket scan offers for the MLB Ballpark app, including:
- Enters offers in a timely manner and following company procedures, then gain approval from Clubs prior to games
- Ensures operational accuracy of offers, including quality assurance and guideline adherence
- Provides first line of defense and troubleshooting when Clubs present questions and issues, then clearly articulate issues and concerns to management and the Product team
- Compiles year-end reporting for all Clubs
- Assists with management of several Club products, including adult fan clubs and kids clubs:
- Requests and approves ads for promotion
- Reviews content for both members-only sections and emails to members
- Assists with customer service responses
- Processes refunds and auto renewal status changes as requested
- Supports transactional and non-transactional forms on MLB and Club.com:
- Assists with the SKU creation process for Club products in the Commerce tool, including providing assistance for associated inventory control and discount codes
- Acts as a resource for customer service
- Contributes to League-level projects as needed
- Develops positive relationships with Club personnel
- Collaborates with management and team members:
- Communicates workload to management regularly
- Takes a proactive role in best practice sharing, knowledge building and resource gathering for the Club Projects group
- Contributes to documentation
- Identifies problems in operational processes and resolve them in a quick and timely manner

Per the NYC pay transparency law, the hiring rate for this position is an hourly rate of $20.00. The actual offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your work experience, education, skills and any other factors Major League Baseball (MLB) considers relevant to the hiring decision.
